Summer Resource Round-Up

|

Summer is just around the corner!  OMG!  I always have a bittersweet feeling this time of year.  I am bitter because I have spent many hours with these kids and I will truly miss them.  All of them, even the little stinkers!  It’s a sweet feeling because I get to spend my days with my son, with no set schedule, lunch when I want, and recharge!  I always try to have some fun summer-themed resources to pull out for this time of year to help keep my class engaged.

Summer Books

Here are some end-of-the-year books I like to put in our classroom library for the last few weeks of school.

Journal Writing

For an end-of-the-year gift, I always send home a fun item (beach ball, summer pencil, etc) and a summer journal.  My kids always love these.  You can read more summer journal prompts here.
