The Snow Globe Family

If you have not heard the book The Snow Globe Family, it’s a must-read! The story is about a family inside a snow globe and their desire for their world to be shaken so it would snow. It’s a great story for teaching point-of-view. After reading the story, I like to have my students write about being stuck in a snow globe.

After reading the story, we talked about what it could be like to be in a snow globe. I introduce the idea of writing our own snow globe story, using a beginning, middle, and end graphic organizer.
