I store mine in a small plastic tub I found at Target. I have included divider cards for storage. I printed my dividers onto colored paper and laminated them.
During my reading group or RTI time, I pull out a few cards with a sound or spelling pattern that I am trying to reinforce or review. My students write in the missing sound or word. They are quick and easy!
Most sound strips have the missing letters for the sounds. Some sounds strips are blank, so students can write in the complete word (CVC and CVCe words). This pack includes the following sounds:
Beginning Sounds
Middles Sounds
Ending Sounds
CVC Words
CVCe Words
Long Vowels (Vowel Teams)
Diphthongs
R-Controlled Vowels
Digraphs
Blends
The back of this pack has the sort card strip answers. You can tell the answer pages because the font is in red. I print the answer pages in grayscale and keep them in a small binder. That way if there is a question as to what a picture is, I can look it up.
