St. Patrick’s Day Math and Literacy Activities

|

We are going to be in full St. Patrick’s Day mode next week during our math and literacy time!  I absolutely love this time of year.  We are always on spring break during the week of St. Patrick’s Day, so we celebrate the week before.  Here is what we have on tap for next week.

St. Patrick’s Day Literacy Centers

First up literacy centers!  During our literacy centers block, students choose a literacy center to work on. Our literacy centers always consist of concepts we have already learned, so they should be a review.

There is a mixture of activities that should keep my kids busy.  As far as math goes, there will be review activities and games for them to play.  I like to find game markers (table scatter) related to the holiday.  I found some cute shamrocks a few years ago that my students love to use as markers.
