Summer is just around the corner! OMG! I always have a bittersweet feeling this time of year. I am bitter because I have spent many hours with this kids and I will truly miss them. All of them, even the little stinkers! It’s a sweet feeling because I get to spend my days with my son, no set schedule, lunch when I want and recharge! I always try to have some fun resources to pull out for this time of year to help keep my class engaged.
Here are some of my summer books I like to pull out for the last few weeks of school.

For an end of the year gift, I always send home a fun item (beach ball, pencils, etc) and a summer journal. My kids always love these. You can read more about them here.
