I am linking up with the girls over at Blog Hoppin’ this week for Teacher Week. Today is Who? Who am I?
My name is Renee and I currently teach first grade at a public charter school in northern California. This will be my 18th year of teaching (oh my!). I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. I went to California State University, Chico for my undergad work and St. Mary’s College for my teaching credential. I taught in the Bay Area for four years before moving back to Chico. I live here with my husband and son, who is six. I love where I live, we have the mountains and the beach a short drive away. My only complaint would be the shopping kind of stinks, ha!
I went to high school with my husband, but didn’t really know him until later in life. We both moved back to our home town after leaving and “re-met” then. We will be celebrating our 9 year anniversary next month. My husband and son are sports obsessed, luckily I enjoy them to. I am an A’s fan living in a house full of SF Giant’s fanatics. I am also a Oakland Raiders and San Jose Sharks fan. After living in the Bay Area for six years, I gravitated to those east bay teams.
I love to travel, be outside, play with my son, anything Disney and coffee! Things I don’t like are mustard, NY Yankees, rude people and paperwork.
Last, I thought I would share 10 random things about me. Thank you Amy Lemons for the template.
There you have. The who. Meet some other bloggers over at Blog Hoppin.
